I hate people who say that. ...Running is NOT easy. I hate people who say that. Without a partner in crime I probably would never have 'got there' ...and I don't have all the health issues. Well I did have to have knee surgery...but that was because of running. Choose a different cardio exercise. I love to spin. You get to spin in a dark room and nobody can tell how good you are at it or if you are slacking off for a minute...or five.

But what I would suggest is Pilates. It is great on joints and it lengthens muscles instead of bulking them. Find a studio that has equipment. You can take mat classes afterwards but the equipment helps with form I think. Take a few one on one sessions...it is VERY pricey this way but you'll feel more comfortable. A good instructor will do your whole session on your needs and wants. It will be so hard... if its not I will hate you. (Schedule the classes at least a few days apart I have always exercised and still can't walk after some sessions) If you like it then take classes with others which is more cost effective.

I started at a studio that I really liked but it became too 'cool girl' for me. The women dressed too pretty and gossiped like crazy (they all lived close and were stay at home moms) so i changed to a more low key place and loved it. The best part of pilates especially on the equipment is every exercise helps your abs. When you work your legs your abs are engaged...same with arms. Love it!

I gained 45 pounds with Stella. She weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and I came home from the hospital weighing 3 pounds less than when I checked in. The first 20 melted off like butter...I thought breastfeeding was my savior...I have tried like crazy on the other 25...and I still have it all.
Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17616021220474505877noreply@blogger.com
