mana mana

Today at work, Jared and I got to go on a field trip. Our mission was to take a picture of Jared's March "teacher feature" for the UEN Professional Development Website. Well, lucky us, there was a van available so we didn't have to take my car.

As I hopped in on the driver's side of the white wonder I saw a suspicious wrapper on the passenger seat. It looks like the last person to drive the van, let's call him the Keebler Elf forgot to clean up after himself and broke rule numero uno....no trash in the van.

ha, ha!

Aren't itemized deductions great?!

Ross and I are overachievers. We not only filed our state and federal income taxes, but we got our nice refund last week and spent it today. And it's not even March yet.

I am typing this post from my new computer. I named it "The Machine" for lack of anything creative...it might get a new name later, but for now, it fits.

The Machine is quite lovely with a very nice large flat panel monitor. We even rearranged the office to accomodate.

New compooters are cool. Yeah for owning a house and deducting interest from our taxes.

Whining.....w/o cheese, please

I don't feel good. My head hurts, my skin hurts, my nose is plugged, I have a sore throat, and I feel very warm.

Beware of the crud. I caught it yesterday at 2:30...you might catch it next.

I'm Published!

Back in October, a woman in my neighborhood appraoched me to write an article for a college and university art magazine called,Creative Convocation, that she edits. I was very excited and flattered with the request and opportunity and wrote my article about "Modern Day Scrapbooking", particularly digital photobooks. The article was a lot of fun to write, and it is a bigger rush than I imagined to see one's writing in print. My copy of the Jan-Mar edition arrived on Saturday and I was so excited....I giggled. Yes, I giggled. The beginning and end of my writing career is in the pages of this magazine.
