Bonus

This is the month of my wedding anniversary. I've been married a dozen or so days away from 5 years. To commemorate, yesterday I decided to throw away all the wedding cards we received on that fateful day - years ago. Ross told me that I couldn't throw them away unless I went through ALL OF THEM to see if any money was left.

I found a $20 and a check for $5 from a woman in Arizona whom Ross thinks has since passed.

We decided not to cash the check.

You're better than me. I threw away all of my cards a month after the honeymoon.

That was a good idea not to cash the check. They stale date after 6 months and are no longer good.

and certainly didn't get any cards with money....
maybe i should've actually invited people to my wedding.

I threw a lot of them away after I wrote the thank you cards, but I kept important quite a few important ones. I don't think I'll ever throw them away, especially handwritten notes from family members (grandparents, etc.) I keep important birthday cards, though, too. You never know when some of those people won't be around anymore and you'll be glad you kept a note from them with their own handwriting in it. - Haley
