Ross and I got season tickets to Runnin' Ute basketball this year. Because of "gary" we are splitting the season with his parents but last night, Ross had church meetings so I went with Ross' dad to introduce him to the suckin' utes.
Question: Where do you draw the line between a poor basketball team or a poorly coached basketball team? I know that my Utes are not playing the type of basketball they are capable of, because they have very brief glimmers of "better-than-average-ness" on the court. However, when your center cannot and will not catch the ball, but bats it away as if it is a disease, and your coach (Coach Aletti) does 5 man substitutions like he is coaching hockey, who do you call bad?
Anyway, they lost last night to Colorado. Colorado got beat last week by 40 points, to Air Force.
It's going to be a rough season. Good thing we bought the cheap seats.
